Beginning Blessing Box Program
Setting you up for a "Stress Free" Start
The Beginning Blessing Box program is a vital initiative designed to support young expectant mothers in our community by providing essential baby supplies and maternal educational resources. This enables mothers to bond with their newborns and navigate early motherhood with a stress-free start. This program aims to alleviate financial burdens on these mothers, ensuring that they have access to the necessary resources to care for their babies effectively.
The Beginning Blessing Box is thoughtfully curated to include a range of essential items that are crucial for the well-being and comfort of both the mother and the baby.​
Some of the key items included in the Blessing Box are:

Car Seat: A safe and reliable car seat is provided to ensure the newborn's safety during travel, in compliance with safety regulations.

Diapers and Wipes: An adequate supply of diapers and wipes is included to help the mother care for her baby's hygiene needs.

Bottles: Essential feeding bottles are provided to assist mothers in feeding their newborns, promoting a healthy feeding routine.

Blankets: Soft and cozy blankets are included to keep the baby warm and comfortable, promoting peaceful sleep and relaxation.

Bouncers: Baby bouncers are included to provide a safe and soothing place for the baby to rest or play, allowing the mother to attend to other tasks while keeping the baby close.

Bassinet: A comfortable and secure bassinet is provided to offer the baby a safe sleeping environment, promoting restful sleep and a sense of security.

Educational Resources: The Beginning Blessing Box also provides valuable information about government services, community resources, and breastfeeding information through our resource folder.
Delivery: Beginning Blessing Boxes are delivered to or picked up by mothers 26 weeks pregnant to the time of birth to support them during this critical transition.
Program Goals:
Reduce Maternal Emotional Stress: By providing essential baby supplies and information, we aim to ease the emotional challenges faced by new young mothers.
Ease Financial Stress: The Beginning Blessing Box program helps alleviate some of the financial burdens associated with welcoming a new baby.
Increase Knowledge: We empower mothers with knowledge about available government services and community resources.
Build Trust and Relationships: Through this program, we seek to foster trust and establish connections for ongoing support and services.

New Beginnings: Journey Into Motherhood

The New Beginnings: Journey Into Motherhood program is a series of free classes and workshops designed to empower and support new mothers on their journey into motherhood. Through expert-led sessions and interactive activities, participants will gain essential knowledge, skills, and emotional support to navigate the challenges and joys of caring for their child.
Our intended beneficiaries are young expectant mothers in need of support and resources. The expected results include improved maternal and infant health outcomes, increased confidence and self-reliance among young mothers, and the creation of a supportive community network that fosters long-term success and well-being for both mothers and their children. ​

Diapers For Dreams Program
Helping Moms Alleviate Stress While Working Towards Their Future!
The Diapers for Dreams Program serves as an incentive for teen parents attending high school to complete their education by providing a consistent supply of diapers, wipes and baby essentials on a monthly basis. This support alleviates financial stress not only for the student but their parents/ guardians, as well. The Diapers for Dreams initiative encourages young mothers to prioritize their academic goals, fostering a brighter future for both them and their children to be successful and self sufficient.
​Mommy Blessing Corner
Every 4th Saturday of the Month
At Healing Hearts with Helping Hands Inc., we believe in uplifting our community of mothers through our Mommy Blessing Corner. Join us every 4th Saturday for our special community outreach event, where we provide essential baby items like diapers, wipes, formula, clothes, and more—available as inventory permits.
