03/22/2025 - Serving Our Community with Love and Support
Mommy Blessing Corner Event
3/22/2025 was such a beautiful day to bless families in the community. Our Mommy Blessing Corner served 31 families and 58 kids with diapers and wipes, thanks to Shiney Hiney Diaper Pantry. Sanctuary of Surrender came out and blessed families with prayer, adult Bibles and 23 children's Bibles such an added bonus! There was lots of clothing, shoes, books, houseware, toys.. all the things to offer thanks to our generous donors Sanctuary of Surrender, Shining Stars Leadership Academy and the many individual donors that thought about our organization. We love being out in the community blessing and serving those that need it most. We can't wait for next month, remember we do this every 4th Saturday! You never know who will be at the next Mommy Blessing Corner.

A Heartfelt Celebration: Our Final Showers of Love Pop-up Baby Shower
We had the incredible honor of hosting our final Showers of Love for a truly deserving mother, Elvia. Expecting a baby boy and already a proud mom to three wonderful sons, Elvia's journey has taken a heartbreaking turn. Just a month ago, she faced the unimaginable loss of her husband, who was the breadwinner of their family.
Elvia, who bravely fled from Mexico in search of a better life, now finds herself navigating this new chapter with her boys by her side. It was our mission to ensure she felt loved and celebrated during this challenging time.
✨ We decorated the venue just for her, complete with a beautiful baby shower dress, delicious catered food, and a stunning custom cake from A+ Bakery. Surrounded by close friends and family, Elvia celebrated until midnight, creating joyful memories that will uplift her in the days to come.
Our Showers of Love program is all about community support, and we’re grateful to have been part of such a special day for Elvia. As we shift our focus to partnering with other organizations for future Community Baby Showers, we carry her story with us, reminding us of the strength of motherhood and the power of love.

A Heartfelt Celebration: Our First Christmas Winter Mommy Mingle Toy Giveaway
Healing Hearts with Helping Hands Inc. kicked off the holiday season in style with our inaugural Christmas Winter Mommy Mingle Toy Giveaway. It was an enchanting evening filled with laughter and joy, as we had the privilege of blessing 12 deserving families with gifts to make their Christmas truly special.
Santa and Mrs. Claus made a magical appearance, journeying all the way from the North Pole to spread holiday cheer and create unforgettable memories. Our heartfelt gratitude goes out to everyone who sponsored a family or contributed to ensure this event was one for the books.
Thanks to our wonderful partners, including Jamboree Dentistry, Molina Healthcare of Texas with Karla Iraheta, and Harris County Public Health WIC Representatives, we were able to provide essential on-site resources to our guests. The evening was made even sweeter with delicious treats from A+ Bakery and Criss Cookies & Cakes, and cozy hot chocolate generously provided by Starbucks (store 11570). Our talented face painter, Ms. Dena, transformed the little ones into festive characters, adding to the holiday spirit.
The excitement didn’t stop there! Our raffle brought joy to many, with one lucky winner walking away with a fabulous trip to Las Vegas, courtesy of Unbeatable Destinations Travel owner Janita Gail, while our second prize winner received a $50 gift card to Gringo's Spring, thanks to their generous donation.
The night was filled with laughter, crafts, and cherished moments, all made possible by our incredible volunteers. A special shoutout to @the_balloon_barbiee Jasmine for adding a delightful winter wonderland touch that truly enhanced the atmosphere.
Showers of Love Soft Launch- August 3, 2024
Showering Tasia with Love
Healing Hearts with Helping Hands, Inc had a soft launch of our Showers of Love program, and it was a heartwarming and joyous occasion. We had the privilege of showering our selected mother, Tasia, with love and joy. She was gifted a beautiful dress and shoes to arrive in style, and it was a blessing to honor her.
The Showers of Love program, created by Healing Hearts with Helping Hands Inc., is designed to organize celebratory events for young mothers experiencing financial distress. These events aim to provide essential baby items, foster a supportive community, and make young mothers feel valued and better prepared for their motherhood journey. By alleviating financial burdens and reducing stress, the program aims to decrease the risk of postpartum depression and promote the well-being of both mothers and infants.
During the event, we played games, enjoyed fellowship, and shared much laughter. We also indulged in a delicious taco bar and Tasia's favorite red velvet cake. Additionally, we were able to bless her with items from the Beginning Blessing Box.
While we continue to perfect this initiative, we are excited to announce that the Showers of Love program referrals will be opening soon. All mothers will be selected based on specific criteria. Stay tuned for more updates!

Back 2 School Backpack Giveaway on July 27th: We Helped Support 100 Students!
We had the incredible opportunity to bring joy and support to the residents of Yale Village Apartments! 🎒✨
A heartfelt thank you to all our donors, sponsors, and amazing volunteers for believing in our vision and helping us make it a reality. Our initial goal was to provide 100 backpacks filled with school supplies, but thanks to your generosity, we surpassed that and distributed a total of 128 backpacks! This effort helped alleviate financial burdens for many parents. 🙏❤️
Special thanks to Operation Love Outreach Ministry for your partnership today and Ms.Sherry the community liaison at Yale Village Apartments, for welcoming us with open arms. Alongside the backpacks, the children were able to select books, uniforms, and shoes to start the year fully equipped. 📚👟
